Lettings Coordinators

Andrew Marshall Residential Properties Ltd

The Company

Operating as a limited company since 2006, and with an extensive property portfolio which has been built up since 2001 we are looking for a selection of property letting co-ordinators to offer a high standard of management services to landlords across the North East of England.

Operating as a limited company since 2006, as Director I have been involved with and have built a property portfolio since 2001, currently letting a portfolio of 20 properties around Durham.

Given the practical experience of property lettings we now seek to offer tenant selection and tenancy management services to landlords across the North East of England.

The Role

We seek to build a lasting service to landlords throughout the North East, by using our knowledge and experience as landlords we understand what is important.  We have the skills, systems and structures to ensure the best possible service is provided.

As a letting co-ordinator you would work on a self employed commission basis.

The commission payments would be made up depending on the type of support you provide to the landlord, this will be either tenant find or full property management.

Lettings Coordinators would work on a self employed basis, paid a commission based upon rent collected.

This is not a job opportunity it is an opportunity to build your own business using our systems and procedures whilst offering service to our agreed timescales.

We seek to build a lasting service to landlords in the area, based on our knowledge as landlords we understand what is important and have systems and structures to ensure these issues are managed.

As such payment as follows is made –

£150 for tenant find only customers

OR

For managed Properties – 7% of rent collected or 8% if for each property –

  • A valid gas certificate is in place for the property
  • The property has not been unoccupied for more than 5 days in the period and
  • Rent is no more than 2 weeks overdue

On this basis, on an average rent of £450 per calendar month annual earnings based on managing 50 properties would be £21,600 before any tenant find activity.

We are looking for self motivated, organised, flexible and confident individuals to build on the success of our company.  In return we offer flexible working conditions and hours, applicants looking to commit to part time hours are also welcomed.

We therefore seek self motivated and organised individuals who are looking to build a business and are prepared to take a long term view to achieve a sustainable income, with completely flexible working conditions and hours and applicants looking to commit to part time are welcomed.

Coordinators will work from home, managing a local area of properties, full support on an ongoing basis and training is available and experience of property management is not required.

Using prescribed systems coordinators will undertake marketing activity to source tenants, carry out initial checks and liaise with landlords on an ongoing basis. Once a tenant is in place the coordinator will be the primary contact and will manage any enquiries and give support to ensure tenants pay rent in a timely manner. Accounts are prepared centrally so this role is not undertaken by individual coordinators.

Should you feel you are able to bring a positive attitude and have the determination to build a successful business with our support then please send a covering letter explaining why this opportunity appeals along with your Curriculum Vitae to –
